Seniors 42 Seniors are taking the challenge to develop a Senior Project, and there are 24 projects currently "in the works." The kids begin by finding a topic they are passionate about. Some work independently, and others have a partner. Each team then creates a written proposal which includes the following information: project description, how the student(s) will be using our school wide learning outcomes (agency, oral communication, written communication, collaboration and critical thinking), how various content areas from prior classes play a role, a community service component (how the project affects someone else), and project justification. The completion of a Senior Project is one of the requirements toward earning a Leading Edge Diploma - the highest diploma track Lakeland offers. Scholarship Postings: PFW is waiving the college application fee during College Go Week (Sept. 26-30). The code is collegego2022. Find more info on the Senior Group in Schoology. IUPUI also has a code to waive application fees. It is INKELLEY. Check out the Senior Group in Schoology for more info. Start applying to colleges between now and November. Stop in guidance if you have any questions. Lakeland’s FAFSA night is October 12th. Bring your (and your parents’) 2021 tax information.
