Lakeland promotes Aileen Sosa, JV Cheer Coach, who will take over the girls' Varsity program, effective immediately.
Lakeland filled the vacant Varsity coach position for the girlsβ cheer team with an inside promotion of our JV cheer coach, Aileen Sosa. When asked why Sosa became interested in coaching and joining Laker Nation, she stated: βMy cheer coach knew I wasnβt sure what I wanted to do after graduation, so she offered me the Jr. High coaching position. Sosa mentioned being especially excited about βa different vision coming to life for the teamβ and that her goals include bringing a sense of accomplishment and confidence to the team each day. Sosa began cheering as early as 1st grade and brings an enthusiastic, youthful vibrance to the squad.
