Registration Help Day

Registration Help Day is August 6th from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM at each school building. Registrars and Spanish translators will be available to help parents/guardians enroll their student.

First day of school is August 13th! Be prepared by learning the important information at Lakeland Jr/Sr High Open House! Students and parents are invited to meet your teachers and office staff, tour the building, locate your locker, learn about extracurriculars, ask questions, and receive important information about communication methods and daily routines.

Location: Lakeland Jr/Sr High School, 0805 E 075 N, LaGrange, IN

*7th grade families should arrive at 5:30 PM for a special meeting.*

 

School Supplies Needed

  1. Pencil
  2. Paper

Because Jr/Sr high school students attend a variety of classes, each teacher will let students know what additional supplies are needed for their specific class.

    4 days per semester are EXCUSED, days beyond 4 are unexcused.

    Excused and counted Absent:

    • Medical, dental, or legal appointments
    • School sends student home
    Unexcused
    Students should have ZERO unexcused absences.
    • Any absense not excused.
    • Any absence beyond 4 parent/guardian verified absences.
    • Failure of parent/guardian to notify school of an absence within 24 hours.

     

    Understanding Absences Document

     

  • Interact with lessons posted in Schoology at your pace.

    • Lessons posted by 10am. No live lessons required.
    • Email/message teacher if in need of assistance.
    • Turn in assignments within 2 days of Asynchronous day.
  • Attend live lessons or watch recordings.

    • Grades K-6: a minimum of 2.5 hours of synchronous instruction will be provided.
    • Grades 7-12: a minimum of 3 hours of synchronous instruction will be provided.
    • Complete all assignments within 2 days of virtual day.
